After a challenging year for our minds and bodies, the Port Adelaide Yoga Festival is delighted to be back for 2022.
A chance to reconnect, heal and share the joy of Yoga, the annual weekend-long festival combines a unique mix of Yoga and wellness events suitable for yogis of all stages.
Back for its third year, the Port Adelaide Yoga Festival is held in the historic art deco Masonic Hall in the heart of Adelaide’s thriving Port district and offers over 25 different classes over the two-day period. Whether you’ve been flowing for years or only just starting to learn the difference between your downward dog and your child’s pose, you’ll be sure to find the yoga for you.
The schedule boasts classes ranging from challenging flows to blissful yin as well as workshops, meditation and sound healings and will run from morning until evening with a day ticket granting you full access to unlimited events. Attend as many or as few of the events as you like, with yogis encouraged to build their itinerary and sample different styles of Yoga across the day, especially styles they wouldn’t normally choose.
“What sets the festival apart is the diversity of wellness offerings and the experienced yoga and meditation teachers all in one place.” Says festival organizer Rosie Richards.
Rosie is a local yoga-enthusiast Rosie Richards who created the event in hopes of making the practice of yoga more accessible to everyone. She also wanted to nourish to current yoga community by connecting everyone within the industry whether they be teachers or students to connect with one another.
A stellar lineup of local and interstate specialist instructors will guide you through your chosen lessons looking to encourage, inspire and educate on not just the physical benefits of yoga but also the mental advantages.
