Home Hunters In Prospect Now Have A New Option

Thinking of heading North towards Adelaide’s up-and-coming suburb, Prospect? Well, here is everything you need to know about the new sustainable, master plan community development called Prospect 1838.

We’re on a bit of a Prospect push at the moment here at Glam Adelaide. With the new cinema complex, 50SixOne, and Anchovy Bandit opening up, we’re very keen to start spending more time in the inner north! Lucky for those thinking of making the north-side change and spending some permanent time in the inner suburb Prospect 1838 is here, complete with a combination of well-planned urban space and superior modern housing designs. Here is everything you need to know about it.

Firstly, there is the stunning location itself. Steeped in a rich and colourful history, we know Prospect as an energetic and youthful city made even more attractive by its facilities, activities, tree-lined streets and vibrant arts. Not only is it gorgeous, but it is completely liveable. Located on the city fringe, less than 5 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD, with Islington Train Station on its doorstep and a direct train line to the city, it is incredibly easy to get about.

It is no longer necessary to simply dream about the chance to live in such a stunning, bustling community. The new sustainable, master plan community development called Prospect 1838 (a nod to the founding year of Prospect), will see 60 three and four bedroom townhouses built in this sought-after suburb of Adelaide.

The development promises cutting edge housing designs, carefully designed, cool urban spaces and tree-lined streets dotted with colourful art and funky spaces in-between. But best of all, they’re going to be 3 & 4 bedroom! With single and double garages on offer as well. That’s pretty much unheard of with townhouses – especially so close to the city.

Prospect itself is of course a drawcard, with its tree-lined streets, cosmopolitan atmosphere, great cafes (think Sunny’s Shop, Muratti Cakes & Gateaux, Cafe Komodo & 50SIXONE), the new $18 million art-deco cinema, some great shops, plenty of places offering services, plus it’s just generally a gorgeous place. It also has a vibrant arts and events calendar, so there’s somethign to do all year round!

On top of it all, 1838 is one of the first townhouse projects in Adelaide to implement gorgeous green garden walls on the majority of the townhouses, creating a funky urban space with engaging artworks and community spaces for bbqs and gatherings with family and friends.

Prospect 1838 in a nutshell is offering:
• Brand new three level townhouses, ranging from $450,000 – $550,000
• 3 and 4 bedroom, 2 bath and option of single or double garage
• Torrens Titled
• Settlement for Stage 1 is set for July 2018 and the houses are due for completion soon after. This means that other than the deposit you pay nothing until July.
