The public holiday street parking hack you may not know

Free parking in the Adelaide CBD? Say no more.

Finding a CBD park is a tough one, largely because it will often set you back a hefty price. There is however, a parking hack that some aren’t aware of that takes effect on public holidays in South Australia.

When parking within Adelaide city and North Adelaide on locally-recognised public holidays you can use time-limited on-street parking bays (paid or unpaid) that are signposted MON to FRI free of charge and without a time limit.

While in most cases you can park there for free, there is still some restrictions in place.

Restrictions still apply on locally-recognised public holidays to all other parking controls.
