The Race That Makes The Nation Paws: Adelaide Canine Cup

The Canine Cup is a completely cruelty free event, complete with a vegan-friendly lunch and watching dogs running from one owner to another.

A new style of race day cup is taking off in Adelaide and you won’t find it at Morphetville Race Course.

Cute doggos, great food and fashion, all going towards a great course — it’s a big yes from us!

Plant 4 Bowden is hosting the Canine Cup held on the Adelaide Cup Day Public Holiday, Monday March 9 2020.

The Canine Cup is a completely cruelty free event. The luncheon is vegan friendly and the races you watch are of the dogs running from one owner to another.

The best part about all of this is that the proceeds from the event will go to assist the rescue efforts of Guardian Angel Animal Rescue.

There is plenty to love about this Canine Cup, including a four course luncheon that will be served throughout the day long with as live music as well.

They will have their own fashion competition running on the day and you can register early for the parade with prizes up for grabs.

An unlimited photobooth will be set up on the day to capture your perfect race day outfits and beautiful fury friends.

The highlight of the day though will be the puppy cuddles from rescue pups supplied by Guardian Angel Animal Rescue — this will be a scheduled event on the day as to not overwhelm any of the gorgeous dogs.

Upon arrival to the Canine Cup you will receive a gift bag and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine (vegan friendly, of course).

You will also be able to enter the sweeps backing dogs running in pre-recorded races to keep up. Once more to not overwhelm the pups as they expect the crowd to get loud.
