Racegoers, fashionistas and vintage veterans are encouraged to swap ’till they drop at Adelaide’s first ever Racewear Clothing Exchange at The South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) on Saturday 26 February.
The Clothing Exchange and SAJC will invite ladies to swap clothes and accessories they no longer wear for those they will, just in time for next month’s Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup. Raid your wardrobe for race day favourites including dresses, skirts, tops, fascinators, hats, a pair of shoes or a statement piece of jewellery, and get ready to swap to shop!
“The Racewear Clothing Exchange is viable alternative to acquiring a ‘new’ outfit for the Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup, without the huge price tag. We all have gorgeous hats, shoes and dresses hanging in our wardrobes that we’ve only worn trackside once, so why not give them a second life while picking up a new piece for our own race day outfit,” said The Clothing Exchange, Adelaide co-founder Chantal Heaver.
Fashionistas can also back a winner on and off the track with lots of race day inspired door prizes on offer including a one hour Personal Style Session from Westfield and a Day at the Races Glamour Makeover from Vani-T Emporium, Glenelg.
