Adelaide, get ready for a Red Hot Summer! The Red Hot Summer Tour is returning to Australia to sort some Unfinished Business with a special line-up of music legends for its 10-year anniversary.

Headlined by classic Aussie Rock n’ Roll band Hunters & Collectors, special guests James Reyne, The Living End, The Angels, Baby Animals, Killing Heidi and Boom Crash Opera will join the ARIA Hall of Fame inductees on stage next year. With dates from February to May 2022, the tour will visit New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland.

Working solidly behind the scenes for the past 18-months, tour organisers are excited to announce the 2022 tour to the Australian public.

“We are thrilled to be able to return to the stage in 2022 with this magnificent line-up and revisit many of the shows that were lost to COVID,” says promoter Duane McDonald.

“We continue to be blown away by the support we have received from audiences. To everyone who has and continues to support us and the live music industry, you are the reason we do what we do and keep creating these memories. We can’t wait to see you in 2022.”

Returning to the Red Hot Summer stage in 2022, Hunters & Collectors performances are a rare thing indeed and a huge coup for music fans. The legendary band disbanded over two decades ago, having only performed again a handful of times since. However, the rock gurus coming together again for Red Hot Summer is apt, particularly considering their voracious live performances are so well suited in a festival environment.

Legendary frontman of Australian Crawl James Reyne has long been used to the glittery rock halls of Aussie music fame for decades. While Reyne won’t be joined by his former bandmates on tour next year, he boasts an illustrious solo career, with his powerful vocals a welcomed addition to the Red Hot Summer Lineup.

Music icons Boom Crash Opera and Adelaide’s own The Angels will also take the stage next year, showing SA’s crowds what great Aussie rock really looks like. Other musical stars Killing Heidi, Baby Animals and The Living End will also rock out at 2022’s Red Hot Summer Tour.

The Red Hot Summer Tour is always a sell-out and bringing this massive line up back to the stage in 2022 will see tickets go fast!
