With gyms having now officially closed in response to the latest lockdown restrictions, many fitness studios are turning to online workouts and training apps to keep their members moving whilst stuck at home during lockdown.
Whether you’re a fitness newbie or a gym junkie we’ve rounded up the best online workouts from SA’s exercise experts from ten minute cardio sessions to break up your work from home routine, to 45 minutes relaxing yoga flows, perfect for relaxing the mind and stretching the body.
KX Pilates
The Brighton, North Adelaide, Tea Tree Gully and Blackwood KX studios have collaborated to ease the strains of any KX addicts mixing out on their pilates fix throughout lockdown.
Studio owner Margot John as well as a number of senior trainers have created a schedule of live instagram workouts, adapting the dynamic KX pilates reformer style to a mat session lasting between 30 and 45 minutes.
You can go live with some of your favourite KX trainers every day, with a special Yin Yoga flow and Meditation planned for a more restful Sunday session.
The sessions are welcome to anyone, not just KX members, and offer a high intensity workout with no equipment necessary.
