The SA Pantry Pack Providing Relief For Families In Need

The SA Pantry campaign aims to supply pantry packages full of immediately useful, non-perishable food produce to South Australian families who lack food security.

117,260 people seek food relief services in SA every month – 1/3 of these are children.

This month, MumKind has launched a new campaign, which, for a tax deductible donation of $50, you can provide a vital pantry pack to a parent who is desperate to feed their family.

MumKind, if you haven’t come across it before, aims to share the joy of motherhood by joining with support agencies throughout SA to meet the material needs of families with young children.

The benefits that the pantry packages will offer to a family, are powerful and numerous. It’s the ability to eat a quality, tasty and nutritious meal. It’s also the relief and security of knowing there’s more than one meal available to them. There’s also the powerful positivity that comes from being gifted something so meaningful from the community.

All SA Pantry packs will be distributed in the first week of May, via the agencies aligned with MumKIND including Centacare, AnglicareSA, Uniting SA, Catherine House and Life Christian Centre.

The packs have been carefully designed by Food by Annabel to ensure a variety of nutritious, tasty and quality meals can be created and enjoyed by the whole family-including breakfasts, lunches, lunch box snacks, dinners and drinks.

Each pack will also include special recipes to allow a range of meals to be created with the ingredients provided.

To provide a pantry pack to a South Australian family, please visit sapantry.com.au and make your tax deductible donation. To make it personal, you’re also invited to submit a personalised message that we’ll attach to the pantry pack – this will ensure that the family who receives it can see first hand, the warmth with which it was provided.
