Frontier Touring has confirmed the return of the popular Dublin band The Script to Australia for their Satellites World Tour in January and February 2025. This marks their first set of Australian concerts in almost three years since their 2022 Greatest Hits Tour.
The Script, known around the globe for hits such as ‘Hall of Fame’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, and ‘Superheroes’, will headline seven performances across the nation, including arena shows in Wollongong and Sydney and outdoor events at various wineries as part of the celebrated “a day on the green” series. The Script will be heading to South Australia on February 2nd to play at Peter Lehmann Wines in the Barossa Valley.
The tour supports the upcoming release of their new album ‘Satellites’. Danny O’Donoghue, the band’s lead vocalist, spoke about returning to Australia, saying, “Australia always holds a special place in our touring hearts so we can’t wait to come back early 2025 to play the hits and new songs from our forthcoming new album ‘Satellites’.”
Supporting The Script on this tour will be a collection of international and local artists, including Brit Award nominee Calum Scott, Australian indie-pop artist Montaigne, American pop-rock trio X Ambassadors, and Melbourne’s emerging talent Lotte Gallagher.
Presale tickets will be available from Tuesday 6 August at 10am local time, with general ticket sales kocking off on Friday, 9 August at midday local time.
