The search is on for Australia’s hottest dog

Do you have the cutest dog in the country? Donut King is searching for Australia’s hottest dog and plenty of other pooches in their national competition.

Does the nation’s ‘hottest dog’ live in your home?

Do you know the best tradie pup at the construction site or a fashionable pooch that knows how to strut the streets of Adelaide?

National retailer Donut King is conducting a countrywide search for Australia’s hottest dog, who may be your very own four-legged friend. While we all think our dog ranks no.1 in the cutest pooch contest, now it’s time to see if your pup can claim the official title.

As well as the honour of your pooch being awarded the title of Australia’s hottest dog, there are plenty of prizes to be won.

Up for grabs is a $500 Donut King gift card for the overall competition winner, and plenty of Donut King dog bandanas to be won for those who nominate their worthy doggos.

However, it’s not just the hottest dog who has a chance to shine in the spotlight.

Categories (or ‘dogegories’) for submission include the best tradie dog, the ugliest dog, the most fashionable dog, and a puppy dog, so pups of all shapes and sizes have a chance to compete and claim their title.

Not a dog lover? No worries! There is also an ‘imposter’ category, so your favourite furry friend can still be in with a chance to win a prize.

Winners of each six groups will receive a $200 Donut King voucher.

To win, submit a picture of your puppy pal to the Hottest Dog Donut King website and include a short bio (25 words or less) about your pet.

Only one entry per pet is allowed, so make sure you’ve captured your dog’s best side before you submit.

Entries close on 22 August, with the winners announced the following week after the judging concludes.
