The Shanti Butterfly is a well loved Australian fashion label created by designer Justine Guyot. The label was founded in 2002 from her passion of art & textiles and a dedication for the fashion industry.
At a young age Justine initiated her experience studying garment production, and after landing a design assistant position with Seafolly Australia, this paved the way for a vision of success for the Australian fashion field. Inspired by travel, colour and the feminine form, Justine’s signature style embraces seasonal trends based on effortless, modern styling that is carefree, timeless and wearable.
With a true inspiration to develop exclusive print stories, throwing them together with authentic quality hand embellishments and detailing, using luxe fabrics, the designer has a unique vision to create her distinctive and adorable collections.
“Designing is a way I express myself and to know women are cherishing my designs and expressing their individuality, feeling confident and fun is a very special thing. The unique name “The Shanti Butterfly” was dreamt on a gorgeous beach in Goa, symbolising peace in the present moment and the butterfly the pure freedom in the months I spent there. From then on The Shanti Butterfly remains as a life long journey for me, of self expression, love of life and “fashion design.”
Now with her designs found in over 70 selected boutiques across Australia, the TSB followers and buyers embrace her direction and diversity displayed throughout her collections, with the label destined to grow. And so the shanti journey goes on…
