Listen up, because your ears are about to be blessed.
You can behold the powerful presence of multinational vocal group Il Divo this spring, as TEG Dainty have announced Il Divo’s ‘A New Day’ Australian tour is set to perform in four cities in October and November.
Their long-awaited return will see the world’s leading classical crossover group take to the stages of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, before closing their tour in Adelaide at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

The group released a statement to announce their delight over the tour, stating they “haven’t been to Australia in some time and are excited to come back to perform for our Aussie fans”
“Australia has always been a big supporter of Il Divo, and after all the tragedy of the last three years, we are beyond elated to return.”
This tour marks their first performances in Australia following the heartbreaking loss of Carlos Marín to COVID-19 two years ago, with Swiss tenor Urs Bühler, French pop artist Sébastien Izambard and American tenor David Miller deciding “the show must go on” in tribute to their friend and fellow vocalist. They’ll be joined by incredible guest vocalist, the Mexican-American baritone Steven LaBrie, who has toured with them since January 2022.

Il Divo endeavour to keep Marín’s memory alive through delivering the continued gift of their combined vocal ability. Furthermore, Aussie fans are in for a treat, since Il Divo have invited world-renowned Neapolitan crooner, ‘The Ambassador of Dolce Vita’ Patrizio Buanne to join them for their Australian tour.
Performing their brilliant repertoire of songs in English, Italian, Spanish, French and Latin, Il Divo will showcase their multilingual vocal talent and incredible range of genres by including anything from hymns and holiday songs to Schubert, showtunes, ABBA, Aznavour, Leonard Bernstein and Leonard Cohen – and everything in between.
Suitable for the whole family, you can get in on the Telstra pre-sale from 9am Wednesday July 12 to 9am Friday July 14 (local time), while General Public tickets on sale from Monday July 17 at 10am (local time) via Ticketek.
Il Divo’s vocal virtuosity is not to be missed.
