The Spirit of Christmas Concert featuring Kym Purling and “The Six Voices of Christmas

Internationally renowned pianist Kym Purling, together with six of the best voices of Adelaide and some of the city’s finest musicians, are putting on a Christmas show you won’t want to miss!

Celebrate the upcoming Christmas season with family and friends at The Regal Theatre on Saturday 21 November as internationally renowned pianist Kym Purling, together with six of the best voices of Adelaide and some of the city’s finest musicians, present KYM PURLING AND THE SIX VOICES OF CHRISTMAS.

Featuring the incredible voices of Chloe Castledine, Zkye Compson-Harris, Pina Del Re, Jo Lawry, Mel McCaig and Lesley Williams,  and backed by Kym Purling, James Muller, Sean Timms, Tim Bowen and John McDermott, this is going to be a unique and special Christmas experience with Adelaide’s cream of the crop, and a show not to be missed! 

Kym Purling has been a musical director for several Broadway shows including Footloose, 42nd Street and Miss Saigon as well as legendary Engelbert Humperdinck and Natalie Cole. 

He has opened concerts for Julio Iglesias, Harry Connick Jr., Sandra Bernhard, James Morrison, Ray Brown and Arturo Sandoval and has performed with the Mills Brothers, Buddy Greco, Kay Starr, Clint Holmes, David Cassidy and with many other famous musicians, vocalists and entertainers.

The night will be filled with artistic, creative, thoughtful and entertaining interpretations of a mix of some familiar favorites as well as some less common Christmas and holiday music. Songs will include Have Yourself A Merry Little Xmas, Jesus, Oh What A Wonderful Child, Please Come Home For Christmas, Mary, Did You Know?, I’ll Be Home For Christmas and Santa Claus is Coming To Town.

Tickets are $59pp or $69 for cabaret table seating (which are fabulous as they’re up front and have room for a platter and bottle of vino – which are also for sale at the venue)
