On Thursday, the 23rd of November, The Stirling Hotel is hosting an exquisite Champagne Masterclass, kicking off a weekend of celebrating everyone’s favourite bubbly, where guests can learn more about various champagnes, get access to exclusive deals, and treat themselves to a night of the finest drops in the picturesque surroundings of the Adelaide Hills.
With the bubbly flowing from 6:30 pm on the terrace of The Stirling Hotel, the Champagne Masterclass will feature a tasting journey of the finest world-renowned champagnes, including the likes of Bollinger, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Dom Pérignon, Ruinart, and Ayala.
Brett Baker from Moët-Hennessey will lead the masterclass along with Christian Rothe from House of Fine Wines (House Bollinger and House Ayala), both guiding guests through the tasting, answering any questions about the featured champagnes and sharing their expert knowledge.
Combining a fun and interactive experience with education, guests will enjoy and savour the taste of each champagne and learn about their history, the intricate process behind their creation, what differentiates them from each other and other champagnes on the market, as well as the art of tasting sparkling wine.
To accompany the champagne-tasting experience, there will also be a selection of delicious shared canapes on offer, created by The Stirling Hotel’s head chef, Gordon Clark, to satisfy the tastebuds and complement the palate throughout the night.
The Champagne Masterclass on Thursday is the first event in a weekend of celebrations at The Stirling Hotel, and on the night, guests will be the first to have access to exclusive discounts on premium champagnes that they can take home and enjoy following their experience.
This will be followed by a Black Friday event on the 24th in the Cellars and Patisserie at The Stirling Hotel from 4-6 pm, where guests can enjoy discounts on champagne, food and beverage tastings, and live acoustic music across the afternoon.
