The Barossa Valley Chocolate Company are celebrating chocolate for the whole month of July. With luxurious hot chocolates and outdoor winter dome dining, nestled amongst the vineyards, enjoy wine tastings, chocolate workshops and more, all throughout the month.

2. Illuminate | July 4 – 21

Illuminate is back for another jam-packed season this winter, showcasing Adelaide’s brightest celebration of art, light, music, and technology. Get ready for late nights, bright lights, and big adventures over two and half incredible weeks. The city will be spark with activities and events, featuring both free and ticketed events!

3. Glenelg Winter Arts Festival | July 5-21

Hitting the bay this July is the Winter Arts Festival. This ever-popular event is a chance to enjoy live arts and entertainment during the cooler weather in an iconic Adelaide coastal location. Glenelg’s Colley Reserve will come alive with shows in two heated tent venues, as well as undercover spaces in which you can eat, drink and gather with friends and family. Guests can take their pick from live music, stand-up comedy, circus, cabaret, magic, burlesque, theatre and family shows, and enjoy festive activations.

4. SAHMRI’s BRIGHT Walk | July 6

On Saturday July 6th at 4pm, hundreds of South Australians will set off on this year’s SAHMRI BRIGHT Walk throughout Adelaide’s CBD. Walk in the dark amongst all the Illuminate light shows, and see the city at its finest. The walk is 11km (MUCH shorter than last year), and the best part is you’ll be raising money for life-saving research along the way (did we mention there’s a wine stop?).

5. BRIXPO | July 6 – 7

BRIXPO, South Australia’s largest fan-run LEGO exhibition, proudly presented by the Southern Bricks Lego User Group, promises to be an exciting weekend for all ages. Explore over 100 stunning fan-built LEGO displays crafted by local, interstate, and international builders. And, if you’re lucky, you might even see some contestants from the LEGO Masters TV show. Enjoy onsite amenities including a café, free parking, and a children’s playground. Don’t miss the Yellow BRIXPO Road activity, where you can embark on a journey around the exhibits, collecting pieces to create your own exclusive BRIXPO set to take home.

6. Beer & BBQ Festival | July 12 – 14

Experience an action-packed weekend like no other as Australia’s premier music, beer, and food festival returns to the Adelaide Showground this winter from July 12th-14th. Get ready for an unforgettable weekend packed with live music from iconic Australian legends, indulge in the largest barbecue selection ever assembled at the festival, and enjoy a wide array of craft beers from local and international brewers. 7. The Australian Ballet Jewels | July 12 – 18

The Australian Ballet is making a grand return to Adelaide with their phenomenal production of Balanchine’s Jewels. This three-part ballet celebrates the motifs of Emeralds, Rubies and Diamonds, is of typical Balanchine style and ought to captivate any viewer. The Ballet will be in town from 12th to the 18th of July, and is a must-watch!

8. Spin Off | July 19

Adelaide is gearing up for the return of its beloved mid-year music event, Spin Off Festival, which is set to light up the Adelaide Showgrounds on Friday 19th July. This year, Spin Off is expanding its musical offerings with not one, but two stages. The main stage will continue to showcase a mix of genres, featuring an eclectic lineup that includes indie pop sensation GIRL IN RED, pop star Conan Gray, and Australia’s rock-pop favourite, G Flip.

9. Winter Reds | July 26 – 28

10. Willunga Almond Blossom Festival | July 27 – 28

At the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy the fun show rides, side shows, animal nurseries, giant games, circus entertainers, camel and pony rides, and wind down amongst the variety of food trucks, live music, and market stalls. Of course, the star of the show is the beautiful Almond Blossoms and the Almond cooking competition! This event runs over two days and makes for the perfect family-friendly festivity this July.
