The Transatlantics Farewell 2010 At The Rocket Bar

The Transatlantics are set to play their last gig for 2010 on their home stage at Rocket Bar this Friday, 3rd December.

The Transatlantics are set to play their last gig for 2010 on their home stage at Rocket Bar on Friday, 3rd December.

Having spent 2010 touring their debut album, which was launched internationally earlier this year, The Transatlantics are excited to offer a taste of their next album. Audiences can expect new music inspired by the Daptone family, as well as the sound of classic American soul labels such as Stax, Hi and Motown.

The recent addition of two female backing vocalists has only intensified the bands high-energy live shows. With their long-standing line-up of three horns, two guitars, bass, drums, lead vocalist Tara Lynch plus the new backing vocalists, The Transatlantics have worked hard to create a dynamic live show.

Along with Kirk Special and The Clique, The Transatlantics will deliver a final funk and soul revue for the year. The gig is being held at the Rocket Bar, 142 Hindley Street, Adelaide with tickets costing $10 ($5 Fringe Benefits members) and can be bought at the door, or pre-sale tickets can be purchased through Venue Tix.
