The Ultimate Cocktail Party Raises Much Needed Funds For Little Heroes

The Ultimate Cocktail Party on Saturday, August 1, is all about a good time for a great cause.

Steve the Bartender will be serving up drinks on the night.

Organised by the crew at Crossfit Brawn, the night will work party-goers abs thanks to South Australian comedians including Amos Gill from Hit107, Liam Stapleton from Fresh FM, Leigh Qurban and Hard Core Damo. Plus get that cardio workout on the dance floor when DJ VIP hits the decks.

The night is a fundraiser for the Little Heroes Foundation who are raising money to purchase a $4 million robotic gymnasium and research unit at Adelaide’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

The robotic gymnasium will help children with neurological disabilities improve their skills and get out of hospital quicker.

Crossfit Brawn owner and coach Jason Wagner is no stranger to bringing his gym’s community and the wider CrossFit community as well as family, friends and the general public together for good causes.

“We thought we would do something a bit different this time, with less exercise and more laughs and dancing,” he said.

“It is great to have some well-known comedians on board who are guaranteed to have everyone in stitches.

“But it is all about raising what we can to help the Little Heroes Foundation who ensure seriously ill children and their families have access to the very best care regardless of their circumstances.

“The theme for the night is Hipster so pull those skinny jeans out of the wardrobe and get your best hipster interpretation on.”

Steve the Bartender will be whipping up cocktails and serving Vale Ale beers and cider and Lobethal Road wines.

Mamachau’s famous baos, lotus chips and kimchi rice balls will be on offer and their delicious mini meringue drops with cream and berries.

Held at Tenth and Gibson, 87 Gibson St, Bowden, the Ultimate Cocktail Party is sure to be a night of entertainment to break up a cold winter.

Some tickets are still available for $80 and can be purchased online at http://www.ticketebo.com.au/crossfit-brawn/the-ultimate-cocktail-party.html. Some tickets may be available at the door but pre-purchasing online will guarantee entry. Doors open at 7pm.
