Ring in the New Year looking over the lights of Adelaide at the iconic 2KW Bar. The doors open at 7pm where you will be greeted with a glass of Bollinger Champagne. The night includes signature canapés and food stations for the duration of the evening. The ACC is throwing, not one, but TWO glam events. Choose between a glamorous Gala Dinner, complete with four-course meal, drinks and live band OR an exclusive Cocktail Party with DJ entertainment, canapés, drinks package and cocktail on arrival. Both events offer spectacular up-close-and-personal views of the Adelaide Riverbank fireworks.
Missed your chance to drink pina coladas & get caught in the rain for New Year’s Eve? BRKLYN is going full Havana for the biggest night of the year. Electra is hosting a party so big it’ll end the decade. Two ticket options are available: for $150 per person you’ll get entry, snacks and a four hour drinks package from 9pm until 1am; alternatively, $50 tickets include entry, snacks, an espresso martini on arrival as well as two drink tokens. Celebrate the year that was at the city’s premier Riverbank event, Adelaide’s New Year’s Eve. This year they’re bringing a jam-packed program of live music, family entertainment and two spectacular HomeStart Finance Fireworks displays.
Hotel Richmond’s Art Deco style venue is the perfect setting for a 1920’s style cocktail party for the modern 21st century. Tickets are $150 per adult and include unlimited champagne or G&T’s, canapés, a grazing table. From 8pm until 1am you can dance away in your finest 1920’s attire and even win prizes for best dressed.

Lucky’s Beach Club
Lucky’s Beach Club at Morphettville is karate kicking open the doors to 2020 in style with a non-stop, go hard or go home party. Party on the sand and dance the night away with a cocktail in your hand and cool beats in your ears. Tickets start at $35 and VIP Tables as well as Private Booths are available for the night.
For $190 per person you can enjoy a six hour food package (including antipasto and paella stations, and roaming cocktail food all night), as well as an extensive six hour drinks package which includes a range of craft beers, South Australian wine and espresso martinis.
To celebrate the new approaching decade The Marion is throwing a Masquerade Gala in the Function Rooms & Secret Garden. Tickets are $60 and include a three course menu and entertainment from live band Keep The Change.
Alternatively, The Marion is also hosting their NYE Garden Party. FreshFM DJ Caroline Tucker + DJ Gex will be behind the decks, spinning tunes to bring in the New Year. Entry is free and there will be drinks specials as well as a cheeky Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cart for those late night sweet cravings.
Henley Beach hotspot will help you wave 2019 goodbye in style. For $100 per person, you’ll get five drink cards, sangria and oysters on arrival, plus Mexican canapés all night. DJ WILLØ will be spinning tracks rom 9pm – 2am.
Tuck into a four-course feast full of French-Vietnamese flavours. Menu highlights include SA King prawns, Seared Tuna and Vietnamese Tiramisu. The first sitting is 5:30pm – 6:30 pm for $110pp, with a second sitting 8 pm – 9:30 for $125pp.

Ideally located for prime fireworks viewing, count down to 2020 at Regattas Bar & Kitchen with a delicious range of seasonal canapés accompanied by a selection of South Australia’s finest wine and beer. Enjoy a five-course degustation meal including seafood, steak and dessert. Dress up in your formal attire and kick off the new year in style. The Glitz and Glamour NYE party begins with a four course dinner and five hour drinks package before Jungle Jooce keeps you partying into 2020. Tickets are $175 per adult and more information can be found here.
The Horizons Cocktail Lounge will be welcoming 2020 with a fabulous Moulin Rouge Cocktail Party. Tickets are $99 per adult and includes canapés from 9pm-11pm and a three hour drinks package.
Ring in 2020 beach-side at the Grand Bar with the NYE Big Bash party. Dance until the early hours of the morning with unbeatable views of the Glenelg fireworks and a DJ line-up from 9pm-3am. The event is free before 9pm and from then $15 entry.
Stamford Plaza Adelaide
Put on your best dancing shoes and Swing Into The 20’s NYE Party at Stamford Plaza. Enjoy canapes on arrival, a three-course menu and a six-hour beverage package. Dance away in the lavishly decorated Ballroom to a mix of modern swing and party music by Adeva. Tickets are $169 per person and can be bought here.
Alternatively, ring in 2020 with a special Taste of Argentina New Year’s Eve three-course dinner menu at La Boca Bar and Grill. Two sitting times are available; 6-8pm ($70 per person) or 8.30-11pm ($100 per person). A Latino party continues late into the night from 11.30pm.
CBD hotspot The Gallery is setting up for a New Year’s Eve bash on its famous rooftop. Drinking package will run for four hours from 8pm until the clock hits midnight and canapés will be roaming the space the entire night. And, of course, The Gallery will have a DJ spinning tracks all night.
Ring in the new decade at Glenelg hotspot The Moseley. There will be DJs upstairs from 12 noon and the downstairs party will kick off at 6pm until 2am. Entry is $20 at the door from 6pm and $30 from 8pm. Tickets will only be available on the door that night, so it’s first in, best dressed!

Get down to the Bay this New Year’s Eve for a great family friendly night. For the first time, the stage will be set up on the sand, making for a true beach party. The night’s free entertainment starts at 6pm with the first of the fireworks displays at 9.30pm at both Glenelg and Brighton beaches. At midnight, the night sky will be lit up again with a second fireworks display off Glenelg beach. Entertainment starts from 6:30pm on Glenelg Beach, featuring Regurgitator, Boomstars, Mr Buzzy and Jaki J.
Party to Britney, Whitney and Vanilla Ice at NYE Nineties & Noughties Party or enjoy a three course dinner in the bistro at The Highway’s NYE Dinner. Entry to the Nineties & Noughties party is free and tickets to the dinner are $80 – more details are available here.
The Mayfair is hosting two fabulous New Year’s Eve events for you to choose from:
The Lower-Ground floor is a black tie affair and kicks off at 7pm until late. Tickets are $199 per person and includes canapes, a plated entrée and main course, and a French Gateaux Buffet.There will also be a three hour drinks package and live jazz music.
Upstairs at Hennessy Rooftop Bar, there will be champagne, EJ entertinment, as well as roving cocktail food, a grazing table and oyster stand. The party kicks off at 7.30pm and entry is $99 which includes a glass of champagne on arrival.
