Does your wine knowledge stop at distinguishing between a red and white? Learn to really appreciate your drop at this year’s Ferment the Festival!
A festival highlight is sure to be the Great Wine Capitals: Grand Tasting VIP Masterclass on Friday 20 October, hosted by SA’s Food and Wine Ambassador (and absolute wine guru) Paul Henry.
Designed as a fun way to engage with SA producers, this event will showcase the best grapes of Adelaide while bolstering your wine knowledge (you can thank us later).
Guests will be treated to two and half hours with six celebrated South Australian winemakers, who will present their landmark wines and speak about the work behind each bottle.
If a generous supply of wine isn’t enough to tempt you, how about canapés by chef Paul Baker and a table full of local fermented delicacies?
Or, if you prefer to make a weekend of it, join Paul Henry on Saturday for Brilliant Blends and Beyond and Great Wine Capitals: Great Wine Landmarks, or Sunday for Great Wine Capitals: International Regional Heroes.
Ferment the Festival runs from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 October at Rundle Park.
