Glamping is the new craze thats gripped Adelaide and with good reason. With the Barossa to our north and McLaren Vale in the south, we have some of the most spectacular locations fit for glamorous camping.
Serafino Wines‘ answer is the return of their exclusive event for Tasting Australia. In collaboration with Tent Events, you can glamp at Serafino by their lake this weekend.
Your ‘Glampsite’ will include beds, bedding, rugs, side tables, lamps and seating to give you the full luxury camping experience. Set up under the moonlight and stars, the tents will be nestled amongst the hundred-year-old gum trees that follows an exclusive view of the lakeside. If this is not living, we don’t know what is.
And the night does not stop there. This exclusive event also provides a three-course dinner and drinks with your fellow glampers in the Serafino Restaurant, survival snacks and a cooked breakfast on Sunday morning.
Executive Chef, Daniel Armon is taking glamping to the next level with the evening meal, by ‘Cooking with Fire’.
They are taking the concept of open fire cooking and camping food to the next level with a modern twist using the Serafino wood fire oven. It will be an interactive dining experience, with an open fire pit encouraging diners to sit with their wine and soak up the ambience by the lake and talk to the chefs as they prepare the meal. It is an interactive experience.
The Serafino built wood fire oven will play host to bake the Wattle Seed Damper, with campers encouraged to investigate and see what’s cooking.
Two amazing Petit Fours will finish the evening. A ‘Tim Tam’ inspired slams are being prepared from scratch by the kitchen for campers to use the chocolaty treat to ‘slam’ the Serafino Tawny Port at the end of the night. Dessert will feature a Chocolate Meringue Pop which will be toasted at your leisure.
Plus, Serafino are also offering an outdoor cinema experience, with a movie to be shown after dinner, giving you the outdoor cinematic experience under the stars. Enjoy a relaxing time away in one of Adelaide’s top nature spots and toast marshmallows in style.
If you are feeling more active whilst on location, take a leisurely walk along the Shiraz trail, hire a bike to explore the wine region, take a tour through the cellar door or book an exciting wine flight experience.
The hassle of normal camping is enough to put a lot of people off, after all, your weekend escapes are there for relaxation and many of us don’t find crouching on the ground assembling campsites that fun. So if you’d rather watch the stars around a gorgeous campsite hassle free then contact Serafino Winery at here.
Glamping At Serafino will take place over Saturday April 13 and Sunday April 14. Serafino Wines can be found at 39 Kangarilla Road, McLaren Vale.
