Channel TEN and the WIN Network have announced a new all-star Australian drama series set to premiere later this year.

Based on the best-selling novel by Zoë Foster Blake, the highly anticipated contemporary Australian drama, The Wrong Girl, stars Jessica Marais, Ian Meadows, Hayley Magnus and Rob Collins, joined by a stellar cast that includes Craig McLachlan, Kerry Armstrong, Madeleine West, Hamish Blake, Doris Younane, Steve Vizard, Kevin Harrington, Leah Vandenberg, Christie Whelan Browne, Hugo Johnstone-Burt, David Woods and Cecelia Peters.

Brimming with exuberance, optimism, warmth and energy, The Wrong Girl takes a fresh, sleek and playful look at men and women – the rules of engagement, the rules of living and the rules of communication.

The heartfelt and enchanting drama follows the story of Lily Woodward (Jessica Marais), a producer on a morning television show, and what happens when life, love and friendships collide. Longing for a life rich in romance, a dynamic career and a happy family, Lily is constantly thrown off course. As her journey continues, Lily discovers that sometimes the right choices can lead to the wrong places and the wrong choices can turn out to be the right ones.

The Wrong Girl will debut on TEN and the WIN Network later this year.
