If you’re gelato crazy like us, you’re probably aware of Gelato Messina.
One of the most popular gelato companies in the Eastern states, Gelato Messina is known for lengthy lines outside storefronts and wildly creative flavour combinations.
Sadly there isn’t a permanent shop in SA (yet) but you might have had a taste at the pop-up Gelato Messina store that opened throughout Mad March.
Now, thanks to a collaboration with Maison Balzac, you can get a whiff of that delicious gelato in your own home.
Messina and Maison Balzac have created two gelato scented candles inspired by a favourite ingredient, Rosebery Honey.
Thee first candle, Miel d’Hiver (winter honey in French), combines scents of flowers bees pollinate during winter. Expect a smokey scent to fill your home.
The second candle, Miel d’Ete (summer honey in French), combines perfume of all flowers pollinated by bees in summer. This candle contrasts the winter one, with bright and warm floral scents.
