This party has “pickled” my fancy!
Much-loved Rundle Street bar BRKLYN is throwing a pickle party, so get ready to celebrate the fermented cucumbers with a night of drinking, dancing, eating, and of course pickles. The event will take place on Friday, June 25 – It’s so close we can taste it!
Like any party, there will be live music and DJs, but the main draw of the night is its many pickle-inspired features. The speakeasy will be serving up lots of Makers Mark pickle backs (which, for those who don’t know, are shots of whiskey chased by pickle brine and often a dill pickle garnish), a pickle-focused cocktail menu, a pickle-focused food menu, and a Nice Pickles market stall.
While BRKLYN is keeping a lid on all of the menu specifics, we know that a pickled margarita, a pickle hot dog––that’s with a pickle replacing the bun!––and a jerk bean Cuban sandwich will be on offer.
The venue will also have pickle-related prizes which, if the party is anything like their first in 2018, could be a jar of pickles.
The Rundle Street bar’s decision to throw a second pickle party is an authentic one: The venue’s signature dish is a reuben sandwich stacked high with pickles, they’ve put pickles on pizza, and they even have a resident party pickle, whose crowd-sourced name is Jack Pickelson.

If you’re a pickle lover and after a night of fun and drinking (BRKLYN promises a a hangover on Saturday), then head to Rundle Street for an epic-sounding party.
