There’s a Toblerone cocktail on offer in Wallaroo

With spiced rum, Bailey’s, chocolate liqueur, Frangelico, honey, and chocolate, the beautiful beverage is sure to give you a boozy buzz and a sugar rush.

Chocolate lovers, you’re in for a sweet (and boozy!) treat.

Wallaroo’s Coopers Alehouse is offering a Toblerone cocktail. With spiced rum, Bailey’s, chocolate liqueur, Frangelico, honey, and chocolate, the beautiful beverage is sure to give you a boozy buzz and a sugar rush.

While we’ve written about copious sugar-coated cocktail concoctions in the past––Paddle Pop, chai latte, Coco Pops, and Biscoff martinis, for example––Coopers Alehouse Wallaroo’s has an important distinction: the Toblerone cocktail is on the full-time menu, not a special.

Mike Waterhouse, the venue’s General Manager, designed the cocktail menu and added the Toblerone option as a permanent addition.

“I always make sure there’s something for everyone––from rum drinks to gin drinks,” he says.

“I added the Toblerone because we needed something more dessert to round the menu out.”

Described by Waterhouse as a “beautiful, decadent after-dinner drink,” the $18 Toblerone is nestled amongst a variety of other cocktails. They offer a pomegranate cosmo with pomegranate liqueur, lime, and cranberry; a coconut margarita with coconut tequila, lime, and agave syrup; and the raspberry lemon drop with pink gin, Chambord, lemon, and sugar.

These cocktails go well with the Wallaroo pub’s meals, which range from pizzas to beetroot arancini balls to seafood platters to burgers in their seaside location. The pub is located right on the water in the much-loved seaside town, and with a fully glass wall facing the ocean and an outdoor deck, you can see the sea whether you’re inside or outside.

For an alcoholic chocolatey treat, a great pub meal, and oceanfront views, head to Wallaroo’s Coopers Alehouse.
