If you’re an Adelaide muso, you’ve probably stumbled across Crown & Sceptre at one point or another. They’re a bit of a live music institution. One of the coolest events they host is Futuresounds VII (on Friday 14 July).
There’s a massive 26 acts over 3 stages featuring local acts like Hunt, Auguste, Mio, Only Objects, Eraser Description and Fugue State. Not going to lie – it’s going to be off the charts. Best of all, all the acts are live and 100% electronic.
The Fresh 92.7 Stage is for those of you who love live acts, anthemic choruses and pop hooks galore. Here you’ll be jiving to the sounds of Hunt, Auguste, Mio, Only Objects, Eraser Description and Fugue State, plus some killer DJs.
The headspace Adelaide Alternative Stage is for those who expect the vocals intimate, the songs intricate and the beats wonky. Here you’re set to hear sets from Caroline Tucker, Daydream Fever, Hemingstein, PNK FME, Kimonono, Water Park Music and more.
The SAE Institute Adelaide Beats Stage have curated a stage full of funky grooves, four to the floor moments and more techno, house, EDM and dub than you can shake a proverbial fist at. Hang around this stage to hear from Lesley Williams, Groov Mekanik, KUJI KOO, Nox, LoCoJo, LAKE WASABI and more.
