These LEGO® Stores are the ultimate school holiday adventure for kids (and big kids)

Adelaide’s LEGO® Certified Stores at Marion and Tea Tree Plaza are serving up hands-on play, iconic brick-built landmarks and screen-free fun that makes them a must-visit these school holidays.

Looking to keep the kids entertained these school holidays? Well, Adelaide’s two LEGO® Certified Stores are ready to deliver a whole lot of fun that’s sure to keep not just the kids happy, but the grown-ups too.

The stores at Westfield Marion and Westfield Tea Tree Plaza are colourful, immersive spaces designed to invite visitors of all ages to step inside a world of imagination that’s all about hands-on play. Kids can build at the in-store play tables, explore the Pick & Build wall to choose their favourite pieces, or head to the Build a Minifigure Station to create a unique character that’s entirely their own. This is all fun that’s not on their screens, encouraging problem-solving, storytelling and imagination, all while having a great time.

Both stores are filled with inspiration from the moment you walk in. January is a huge month in-store with more than 150 new LEGO sets that have just dropped. Fans of all ages can explore a wide range of new LEGO sets, including LEGO Harry Potter™, Star Wars™, Ninjago®, Disney™, Technic™, Minecraft® and more. There’s something for every age, skill level and interest, making it the kind of place where a quick browse can easily turn into an hour of discovery.

The stores themselves are part of the experience. At Westfield Marion, one of the most impressive elements is a striking, large-scale 3D build of Hamish the Cyclist. This detailed creation took 283 hours to design and build and is made up of 73,979 bricks. You’ll also find a stunning mosaic of the Glenelg Jetty at sunset, which captures one of South Australia’s most iconic coastal scenes, complete with a playful twist. Hidden somewhere within the mosaic is a single pink brick that visitors can spend some time finding.

Over at Tea Tree Plaza, the LEGO® Certified Store celebrates local landmarks and icons through impressive brick-built tributes. A custom Adelaide-inspired mosaic, created using 32,532 bricks over 104 hours, shows the hills that frame the city. Another showstopper is the Adelaide Minifigure with Dolphin, a nod to the Dolphin Sanctuary that took 473 hours to complete and uses more than 81,000 bricks.

There are also plenty of little extras that make your visit feel that little bit more special. Young builders can collect a free LEGO® Passport and add the unique store stamp, along with the stamp of the month. Custom brick engraving is available on 2×4 keychains, making a fun souvenir or a thoughtful gift to take home with you.

So if you’re looking for a bit of fun during these school holidays, the LEGO® Certified Stores at Westfield Marion and Westfield Tea Tree Plaza are more than just a shopping trip.
