“When we purchased the property, we were wanting a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with up to 3 off street carparks as close to the Adelaide CBD as possible,” says Tim.
“We needed to turn it into a luxurious abode that was desirable for most people, including affluent guests.”

From weddings to girls weekends, and even corporate conferences, the property hosts a range of clients.
“Our clientele is typically coming to Adelaide for a wedding, a girls weekend, an event or a conference, but at the same time it is attractive for couples wanting a change of scenery to enjoy restaurants or a show in town which is a 2 minute Uber ride away,” explains Tim.
Instead of sharing with other visitors, the luxury of Airbnb means you can privately enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities – premium comfort at a modest price point.
“Group bookings could look at city hotel rooms at up to $1200 per night in total to get everyone accommodated plus car parking, it’s a costly and very different experience,” Tim says.
“Our Airbnb looks favourable from that perspective, as you have your own swimming pool, expansive loungeroom and kitchen, up-to-the-minute styling and a beautiful, spacious homely feel that you just can’t get in a hotel room and at a better price point.”
Max manages Adelaide Hills House, a superb luxury property located at Summertown in the Adelaide Hills with sweeping views over Piccadilly Valley.
With a 5-Star rating on Airbnb, the property has a heated swimming pool, sauna room, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, wellness room, luxury bathtub overlooking a private parterre garden, chef’s kitchen, Bose sound system and more, all set amongst 1.5 acres of manicured gardens.
This retreat oozes comfort, and is the result of an extensive restoration, ensuring all needs, wants and desires are met.

Pricing is typically between $1,000 to $1,400 per night and there is often a waiting list.
Both Tim and Max say that while there’s been a lot of private investment in the properties, it’s the State Government’s current focus on hosting more large-scale events that has really boosted confidence in the long-term future of short-term rentals.
