Looking to party this long weekend? Well, Pirie Street’s SORA has just the thing for you. YAMAS! is the city’s first-ever immersive 360° Greek Night experience, and it’ll be taking over SORA’s rooftop on Sunday, January 25th.
Presented by Tout Tout, YAMAS! is not your standard Greek night. This is a fully immersive, all-senses-on-deck experience that combines music, movement, food and vibes all into one intimate rooftop celebration. Spinning Greek anthems seamlessly with RnB and Afro House, live instrumentation will be mixed in through DJ sets, surrounding the crowd with sound from every angle as the night unfolds around you.
The music is central to the event. Sydney-based DJ PKAYY is headlining the night alongside local favourites SAMI, Wells and Fiif. These guys are creating a soundtrack that will take audiences between nostalgic Greek classics and modern dancefloor energy. Adding another layer to the vibes is live percussion from Harry and bouzouki from Kris, which will light up the space and bring an authentic edge to the night.
Of course, no Greek celebration is complete without food, so YAMAS! is bringing the flavours straight to the dancefloor. On the menu are roaming feta chips and calamari, which will be making their way through the crowd, keeping everyone fuelled for a long night (and early morning) of dancing.
The setting is just as important as the soundtrack, and perched on Level 9, SORA’s rooftop delivers great views, soaring arches and an elevated design that feels worlds away from a typical nightclub. By day, SORA is refined and stylish. By night, it transforms into an electric Adelaide party destination.
Kicking off from 9:30pm on Australia Day Eve, this 21+ event is perfect for anyone looking to get out on Sunday night, and make the extra day off just that bit sweeter.
