Finding venues that are open all Easter long weekend is almost like an easter egg hunt in and of itself. Lots of venues close their doors and we are left wandering the streets in search of places to hang with our family and friends from breakfast all the way to dinner.
Luckily we are hear to make your life a little bit easier with updates of places that are open over the long weekend.
The Colonist is one such venue that is open Good Friday (and all Easter long weekend).
Better yet, there will be food specials, happy hours and entertainment throughout the entire weekend at this classic Adelaide pub.
Breakfast will be served all weekend from 9am-2:30pm, including Good Friday. You can get everything from Grilled Haloumi and Avocado to Mushroom Ragu. There are also loads of extras, like Truffled Swiss Brown Mushrooms, hash browns and eggplant kasundi.
Lunch will be served from 12pm and dinner from 5.30pm. The full menu will be available all long weekend.
On Good Friday happy hour will be available from 5-6pm, as well as $10 G&Ts from 6-7pm.
If you’re feeling hungry they have $10 foraging plates available from 4-6pm on the Friday. There will also be a Moon Dog beer launch on Friday, so purchase any Moon Dog beer from 2pm and go in the draw to win a basket of beers.
Again, on Saturday you can enjoy sipping on $10 G&Ts during happy hour from 4-6pm. Then on Sunday kick back and relax whilst listening to live acoustic music in the afternoon accompanied by our $10 selected cocktails from 3-5pm.
Sunday will have $12 selected cocktails from 3pm until 5pm and live music on Sunday 3-6pm with Scott Rees.
