Gastropub venue The Duck Inn is taking pub fayre to the next level, with two decadent dessert cocktails making a big splash at the Adelaide Hills venue, just a short drive from the CBD.
With crackling open fireplaces and plush Chesterfield sofas to sink into, you can escape the drizzly cold winter days and dive into this cosy venue, with one of their epic new Caramilk or Biscoff cocktails in hand.
For Biscoff fans the Duck’s talented bartending wizards have mixed Biscoff with vodka and butterscotch schnapps to create a silky smooth cocktail made with a choice of five milks depending on your preference – regular, skim, lactose-free, almond or soy.
Served in a biscoff crumb-covered coup glass, fans of the tasty tipple need to act fast, with the Biscoff Cocktail only on offer for the month of August, priced at $15. However if popularity of the cocktail continues at its current astronomical rate, the venue has considered making it a part of their staple spring cocktail list.
Also on offer is the Caramilk Dream cocktail, ideal for fans of the sumptuous caramel chocolate bar. Made with white creme de cacao, butterscotch schnapps, milk, and condensed milk, the cocktail is whipped up into a thick mixture, topped with a swirl of caramel syrup and Caramilk shavings.
A must-try for the ultimate Caramilk fan, the sweet cocktail will set guests back $15 per serve.
As well as elevated Asian-inspired dishes such as fried bar buns, salt and pepper tofu, and pork and ginger potstickers, the relaxed pub venue also hosts regular evenings of local live music talent every Sunday with artists such as Steve Gower, Ella Ion and Madz Winter Duo booked in for their packed August line up.
