With new venues popping up all around the coastal suburb as well as the stunning restaurants that have been flourishing for years, Henley Beach is a the perfect place to spend the upcoming long weekend.
Very little in life beats the oceans views that Henley Square’s mainstay eatery Stella Restaurant offers up all year round.
With a cosy, intimate feel both inside and out and a fresh yellow interior to complement the ocean-blue views, Stella is a gorgeous space to wine, dine and unwind with family and friends. Add to that a thoughtful Easter menu featuring SA seafood, and you have a real winner.
Aligning with the old Easter tradition of no meat of Good Friday, Stella’s delectable Easter long weekend menu is packed with South Australian King Prawns, Octopus, softshell crabs and calamari. Here are some sneak peaks!
For $32 you can get yourself a King Prawn Risotto, with spinach, capsicum, chilli, a dash of Napoletana sauce and fresh basil.
Or perhaps the Octopus salad is more for you. Accompanied by green beans, kipfler potatoes, chorizo, chives, snow peas and a paprika lemon dressing, this salad is the ultimate indulgence (28$).
Also on their menu is the ‘Fritto Misto.’ This has cocktail prawns, softshell crab, calamari, grilled octopus, with a traditional homemade cocktail sauce and a side of chips all for $36.
Stella is open from 8am until late on Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It will also be open from 8am until 4pm on Easter Monday.
We should also mention that if you are on the lookout for the venue to book for Mother’s Day next month, then Stella are also offering a special menu for this.
Think house-made gnocchi and linguine infused in stunning sauces as well as chocolate fondant and lemon meringue tarts for dessert. (And that is just the teaser.)
Delicious food and wine, a stunning interior and unmatchable ocean views… could it get any better? Long weekend sorted.
