The Hahndorf Inn have just been blessed with a fresh brew, and you need to try it!
Now pouring at the Hahndorf Inn (and certainly not for the faint of heart) is Barossa Valley Brewing’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Milkshake Stout.
Inspiration for the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Milkshake Stout was taken from Barossa Brewing’s Founder and Head Brewer Denham D’Silva’s favourite Dairy Queen milkshake that sustained him all through University in Michigan.
This version however uses a rich stout as the base, followed by the addition of chocolate malts, cacao nibs, peanut butter, and lactose which make the brew reminiscent to the milkshake of his youth.
The tasty stout can be purchased from the Barossa Valley Brewing website at $23.99 for a pack of four, or $98.99 for a case of 24. However, the team at the Hahndorf Inn are also pouring the brew on tap daily if you happen to pop into the picturesque venue.
The Hahndorf Inn are a South Australian tourism icon and have proudly stood in the main street of Hahndorf for over 155 years.
The venue holds a main dining restaurant, bar area, outdoor dining area, and cosy saloon bar, as well as a traditional German Bierhall. Filled with picturesque open fireplaces, the beautiful Hahndorf Inn retains all its charm to this day.
