This Instagram-Worthy Events Company Is Changing Lives And You Can Help Too

They’re getting ready to launch their new Queen of Sheba caravan bar, and changing lives one event at a time.

Let’s face it, you either love or loathe planning events – there’s not really any in between. Are you dreading planning your next birthday party, baby shower or work event? At the same time, do you feel like you’ve not been doing enough for the community lately? Let Miss Mysa Events help you kill two birds with one stone.

They transform events from the ordinary into the extraordinary. Their Queen of Sheba caravan is currently undergoing a full restoration and is due to launch on the 10th of August. She will be available to hire for weddings and private/corporate events and festivals.

Sheba is a fully functioning bar and comes with a wine fridge, crystal glassware and, of course, Hookahs and a range of flavoured sheesha. Decked out with Camilla cushions, Moroccan pendant lighting, a huge white chesterfield day bed and another seating area, she can comfortably house 10 of your crew onboard. If you hire her, you’ll not only get a caravan that’ll be the envy of all your friends, but she also comes with a huge array of matching Moroccan outdoor furniture including low lying tables, cow hides and poufs, and tarot cards.

Love the sound of her? You can hire her out independently or Miss Mysa will provide RSA qualified bar attendants to create a range of cocktails, including their signature Turkish delight-inspired cocktail with a frozen fresh rose sphere and silver leaf.

Sounds amazing, right? Well it gets even better. When you choose Miss Mysa Events, you’re not only investing in a show-stopping event, you are investing in social change. ‘How?’, you ask. With the highest refugee youth unemployment rate in the country, South Australia desperately needed change. MYSA (Multicultural Youth of South Australia) decided to develop a social enterprise that would provide training and paid work experience to some of the state’s most vulnerable young people, and thus Miss Mysa Events was born.

Not only do they employ young refugee people, but they pay for them to gain qualifications in event professions such as: floristry, graphic design, photography, event management, and can even help them get their Responsible Server of Alcohol licence (RSA). Miss Mysa Events also provides on the job training, giving these young people who desperately need it six months paid work experience with the business before transitioning them into full time employment within the event planning industry.

By giving these young refugee people a hand up in an industry that’s quite difficult to get into, they’re not only changing these young people’s lives, but helping lower the refugee youth unemployment rate in South Australia, which is growing annually at a faster rate than the national rate. Young refugees experience a range of individual, social, cultural and systemic barriers to employment, and through Miss Mysa Events, they are getting the experience, support and training they need.

If your business is lacking on the social responsibility front, or you’re a party thrower who feels they should give a little bit back to the community, this not-for-profit business will tick all the boxes. Not only will you have a stunning event that rivals the most Instagram-worthy out there, but you’ll feel content in the knowledge that you’ve helped give a young person a chance to succeed.
