Goodwood is set to welcome Foodwood, a new eatery serving a myriad of cuisines.
Foodwood pretty much equates to Goodwood + good food, and with over 50 items on the menu, there are plenty of dishes to choose from.
The dishes are mainly of Indian, Nepalese and Chinese descent, with a range of curries, dumplings, rice dishes and grilled meats to choose from.
Owner Bishal Pant, at the ripe age of 24, is opening the eatery after gaining seven years of experience in food and retail business.
Bishal says that the restaurant is a place to bring the family together for a fun night out full of great food and fun.
The head chef, who is also Bishal’s father, has over twenty years of experience cooking and managing restaurants, so we can only expect the best.
Curries include butter chicken, chicken tikka, vindaloo and korma, and prawn masala.
Bischal says the Nepalese dumplings are some of the best you will ever have, served with an extra tangy dipping sauce.
Other Chinese inspired menu items include delicious looking spring rolls and Chow Mein.
Alu Gubi and mixed vegetable pakora are just some of the myriad of vegetarian and vegan options available to pick from too.
This family-friendly restaurant will also keep your kids satisfied with options like chicken nuggets, fish fingers and a junior-sized butter chicken.
The venue can cater up to seventy people, but due to current COVID-19 restrictions, numbers are limited.
Foodwood is set to open on the 21 September, and will be open 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner.
Find Foodwood at 152 Goodwood Road, Goodwood.
