This non-alcoholic, sugar-free sparkling is the ideal alternative for your night off

ETCH Sparkling, run by husband and wife team Jason and Andy Quin, is a sparkling, water-based beverage, made with native Australian fruits and herbs.

Jason, who spent 23 years in the wine industry, made the decision to stop drinking for health reasons, and quickly grew frustrated with the lack of sophisticated, food friendly, non-alcoholic beverages, available for dining and social occasions.

The options seemed to end at soda water or soft drink, and that’s when Jason realised there was a gap in the market that needed to be filled.

Drawing on his background in making, producing and selling wine, Jason turned his hand to producing non-alcoholic beverages, to appeal to a health conscious market looking to enjoy a drink without the sugar rush or the alcohol.

The Quins have long harnessed a passion for good health and inclusion, and wanted this to be a focus of their venture.

Thus, ETCH (Every Time Choose Health) was born, a non-alcoholic, no or low sugar sparkling, made with native Australian ingredients.

On the back of the health and wellbeing movement, there is a rise in trend of non-alcoholic beverages being produced across the world.

The botanicals used are sustainably farmed and grown in regions where they naturally thrive.

“The current offerings in the market for non-alcoholic beverages that are adult in style and presence are limited,” says Jason.

“We bring an option for people to choose and enjoy which satisfies mouthfeel, flavour, and presence, utilising uniquely Australian plants.”

The ETCH range currently consists of three products:

  1. ZST is a citrus based Sparkling using Finger Lime, Lemon Myrtle and a hint of Rosemary.
  2. PLM is dry but fruit driven Sparkling using Davidson Plum, Riberry and Strawberry Gum.
  3. HNY is dry with a touch of sweetness provided by raw, native flora Mornington Peninsula Honey and a touch of Rosewater (think Turkish delight minus the sugar rush).

The ETCH range has just launched in South Australia, and can be found at select Chapley’s Foodland stores, Mothervine, Something Wild and the Albion Hotel with more stockists coming on board regularly.
