This Nood Australia pop-up brings botanical personal care products to the CBD

Nood Australia has a pop-up in Regent Arcade where you can get natural, sustainable, and environmentally friendly personal care and cleaning products.

This native botanical spa inspired range, brings the bush, the desert and the rainforest into your bathroom. And now you can get it in the heart of the CBD.

Nood Australia pride themselves on creating natural, sustainable, and environmentally friendly personal care and cleaning products. Thanks to Renew Adelaide, the majority owned Aboriginal company has a pop-up store in Regent Arcade.

For thousands of years Aboriginal people have been using native Australian botanicals for eating, medicinal purposes and Nood has now incorporated these into their diverse range.

There’s the Yarta range, with eucalyptus, Kakadu plum extract, wattleseed oil and lemon myrtle extract. This beautiful combination is available in body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner.

Then there’s the Wardli home care range, with dishwasher detergent, bathroom cleaner, surface cleaner, glass cleaner and floor cleaner, that will have you house smelling fresh as a daisy.

Founder Anthony Wilson says that the company originated to bring a point of difference to the hand hygiene game.

“We grew up around traditional bush medicines, and so we wanted to bring these traditional methods and aspects of the culture into a modern, Western format.”

He says that the company has big plans.

“Our goal is to continue to grow. We want to grow a consumer base of loyal customers for our Nood products and really make a big presence in the scene.

“I want to give a big shoutout to the team at Renew Adelaide for giving us a shopfront and giving us the platform to showcase these products” he said.

Renew Adelaide is a not-for-profit organisation that supports cool ventures by offering flexible rent-free spaces in the CBD. By doing so, they help to revitalise urban areas both socially and economically. Wilson sums it up well.

“We’re excited to showcase our product and what we’ve been able to do in the first four and a half years of business.”
