This Season’s Must Have – The Kaftan, Two Different Ways

When you're looking at outfits on the rack, sometimes it takes some imagination to figure out what would work for you and how to wear it. Luckily for us, Adelaide fashion designers Liza Emanuele and Rosie (Regina Sole Queen) not only have versatile styles this season, but they also held a special night for fashion bloggers recently which focused on how to change up an outfit, giving you the most bang for your buck. Here is one of our favourite outfits – a new season digital print Liza Emanuele kaftan teamed with Comess Blue wedges hand made in spain by Gaimo.

Glam Adelaide's Gen Whaites had no trouble making this outfit look good. She is after all, tall, blonde and built like a model. To show off Gen's tiny waistline, we belted the kaftan and allowed her to show off her amazing figure. The wedges were great for Gen as well, as she's quite tall and doesn't like to wear anything too high in the heels department.

On a completely different level however, is trying to dress for pregnancy while staying out of maternity stores. I'm 5 months pregnant and have quite the bump to show for it! The Liza kaftan was perfect for me – keeping me modest (I'm quite a bit shorter than Gen) while giving me ample room to expand over the coming months. It is also nice and cool on hot days like today! I have to say though, I'm also looking forward to trying to wear it belted post-pregnancy. This is one of the key things I look for when spending money on pregnancy-friendly clothing – I want to be able to wear it again after my baby arrives! The wedges, of course, are fabulously comfortable, which again ticks the pregnancy friendly box.

The thing I love the most about this outfit, is that it can be dressed up or down depending on your accessories and how you wear your hair and make up. I can definitely wear this to the beach with thongs, or glam it up for weddings or cocktail parties.

With so much on offer both at Liza Emanuele Boutique and Regina Sole Queen on King William Road, it's really up to your imagination as to how many different ways you can wear something to ensure value for money.

At least I know, I'll be a party goddess this festive season and I won't need to even consider elastic wasited pants.
