Threefold Distilling is bringing a new distillery to Glenelg’s east with a three-part venue.
Included in the new space – which has been completely renovated – will be a distillery area where gin is produced, a tasting bar for 50 people and a main bar for over 100 people.
The distillery and tasting bar are set to open in February, and the main bar is due to open mid-year bringing amazing spirits to the locals and the wider community.
Threefold is jointly owned by Aidan Shaw, Luke Fleming and Steven Roennfeldt.
Steve said the space is a new endeavour for Threefold Distilling which will also offer cocktails and beer on tap as well as pizza.
“The Threefold tasting bar will offer sampling experiences of our range of gins including limited and unseen gin releases whilst the main bar will also highlight a menu consisting of cocktails, local beer, wine and spirits,” he said.
With many years of experience in the hospitality industry, Steve said the team are “excited to showcase our experience in the new venue through cocktails, masterclasses and events”.
Threefold Distilling has been located in Stepney for the past two years, working alongside Moorak and Massey Wines at Fergs. They will be moving to the bigger location which is 450 m².
“We produce a range of gins including three in our core range,” Steve said.
“The first release in Dec 2019 was our citrusy and summery Aromatic Gin that makes an incredibly vibrant gin and tonic.
“This was followed by our savoury Mediterranean Gin that shines when accompanied with food, and then we produced our vintage release GSM (Gin, Shiraz & Mourvèdre) which is bright and juicy.
He said the new distillery will allow Threefold Distilling to showcase their amazing offerings.
The new Threefold Distilling distillery is located at 1 / 524 Anzac Highway Glenelg East.
