Tickets are on sale now for South Australia’s favourite event, the Royal Adelaide Show.
The best of the country returns to the city for nine days of activity starting on Saturday, 2 September. Royal Adelaide Show CEO Will Rayner said the team was working hard behind the scenes to ensure that this year’s Show will be one of the best ever.
“South Australians love the Royal Adelaide Show and we can’t wait to welcome people from across the state back to Wayville,” Will said.
“The Show will bring together more than 4,500 animals, 50 carnival rides, more than 330 commercial exhibitors, and over 400 different showbags.
“It was incredible to witness attendance numbers return to pre-COVID levels in 2022, and we hope to see that number continue to grow this year.”
Attendees who pre-purchase their tickets can enjoy a significant discount, with pre-purchase ticket prices starting from $26 for an adult and $16.50 for a child for full day passes.
“Every year, the Royal Show provides exceptional value for money to our attendees,” Will said.
“We encourage people to purchase tickets ahead of time – time slots in high demand, such as evenings and weekends, are always at risk of selling out.
The Show will also feature 100 free activities across the nine day program.
One of these will be characters from the popular Australian family TV show, Bluey, who will join the Royal Adelaide Show for the first time in 2023.
Other free activities include live performances, interactive animal opportunities, educational experiences, local food tastings and the popular nightly fireworks display.
“There is no bigger name for Australian families than Bluey and children will love getting to meet their favourite characters,” Will said.
“We encourage visitors to check the daily schedule on our website and plan ahead to make sure they are able to see all the entertainment and experiences, as well as pre-purchasing their tickets.”
