Tickets for South Australia’s biggest and most popular event, the Royal Adelaide Show, are on sale now!
Royal Adelaide Show general manager Michelle Hocking said Show organisers, volunteers and supporters were looking forward to reuniting with South Australians after three long years.
“With the 2020 and 2021 Royal Shows cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, everyone involved with the Show is very excited about staging this year’s event for the people of South Australia,” Ms Hocking said.
“Our competition entries are looking really strong, there are new rides, new showbags and of course our completely revitalised entertainment program, thanks to the support of the State Government, which will feature a host of great South Australian acts.”
The cheapest way to buy Show tickets is to pre-purchase them online at www.theshow.com.au, or from Foodland stores across the State.
Show-goers will be required to purchase a Monday to Friday ticket or nominate a specific date for weekend visits.
“Tickets will also be available at the gate, subject to availability on the day,” Ms Hocking said. “However, by pre-purchasing, you can save on the ticket price compared to the gate – and some days, particularly weekends, may sell out so we encourage people to get in early.
“Twilight tickets, valid for entry after 6pm any day of the week, will also be available for online purchase only at a cost of $22.
“Our Family Passes are another great option. Priced at $59 for weekdays and $68 for weekends, if purchased online, they allow entry for 2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 3 children, at a saving of up to $23 on individual ticket prices.”
The popular BankSA discounted carnival passes will also only be available for pre-purchase. They cost $80 for 100 coupons or $35 for 40 coupons, with each coupon having a face value of $1 that can be redeemed at any ride and at selected sideshow games.
Royal Adelaide Show will feature all the usual favourites, including the much-loved competitions, agricultural displays, exhibitions, carnival attractions, showbags, great food, a jampacked entertainment program, and nightly fireworks.
The Show will run from September 3 – 11 at the Royal Show Grounds.
