Last night, Thursday December 4, 120 exclusive A-listers, media, faces of Adelaide and Tiffany customers were invited to join Tiffany & Co.’s newest store to celebrate the official opening of its doors, ribbon cutting and all.

Guests were greeted with a Tiffany Blue carpet under their feet, french champagne, waiters, security and were roped off by Tiffany Blue rope. It really was the perfect Tiffany & Co. greeting.

Amongst the beautiful crowd was South Australian Treasurer, Tom Koutsantonis, who has a personal tie with Tiffany & Co. after proposing to his now wife, Anthea, with a Tiffany engagement ring. He stated that this is just the beginning for North Terrace: “In the near future I would love to see Gucci, and even Prada join the high end store along the boulevard”.

Soon after, Mr Koutsantonis was invited up to cut the ribbon, officially opening the store.

Inside the 350 square metre space, guests were greeted by models draped in the luxurious brand, invited to try on and purchase items. To the left was the much anticipated engagement salon, in the back in the VIP lounge for those intending to make exorbitant purchases, and to the right was the high fashion salon. All sections include fine jewels, rare diamonds and signature Tiffany & Co. pieces.

The exclusive archival collection, A Brilliant Legacy, was on display, and will be until December 8th. It features treasures from the Tiffany archives in New York and includes pieces dating back to the ’60s, such as the Pearl seed necklace purchased by Abraham Lincoln as a gift for his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln.
