Tim Minchin Is Playing A FREE Concert For Adelaide Festival’s 60th Anniversary

Expect to experience one of the greatest open-air, open-to-all, opening night gigs!

Last time Tim Minchin played in Adelaide, five Thebarton Theatre’s worth of tickets flew out the door within days, leaving thousands of fans disappointed — but have we got news for you!

As a gift to the city on the occasion of the Adelaide Festival’s 60th anniversary, the Elder Park stage is welcoming the legendary Tim Minchin and his band.

The best part? It will be absolutely free of charge.

Rally your mates, pack a picnic, bring the kids (you know the words, you can choose to cover their ears at judicious moments), stake your patch of Torrens-side grass and enjoy hits from the King of Kohl’s brilliantly acerbic songbook under the stars.

Tim’s prodigious talent as a songwriter, lyricist and creator of intelligent art with mass appeal can tend to make you forget what dynamite he is live.

Expect to experience one of the greatest open-air, open-to-all, opening night gigs!

The concert takes place on Saturday, 29 February and kicks off at 8pm (so you’ll have plenty of time before to secure your spot).
