In Australia, the coveted role of Tina Turner is brought to life by Ruva Ngwenya, who has been gracing stages since her debut in 2013 as Shenzi in The Lion King. Ngwenya’s impressive career includes roles in successful musicals like We Will Rock You, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Ragtime, and Moulin Rouge The Musical. Portraying Ike Turner is Tim Omaji, an Australian triple threat and multi-platinum performer. Omaji’s theater credits include roles in Moulin Rouge! The Musical and the critically acclaimed In The Heights.
