Tired of eating dinner at the same table? So are we.

12 Tables- A new venture by Paul Wood – launching July 8 2011.

Adelaide foodie Paul Wood launches his new venture 12 Tables this July. A twist on regular dining, this touring table will bring together South Australia’s best food and wine at 12 different tables over the next 12 months.

While pop up restaurants are hot in the eastern states, Adelaide’s newest pop up restaurant takes this one step further by being on tour! The touring table concept will feature intimate, regionally focused dinner parties and long lunches, showcasing SA produce and wine in a variety of settings. From designer showrooms in Adelaide to cellar doors in South Australia’s wine regions, who knows where the next dinner party just may pop up?

“Since My Kitchen Rules I’ve spent the past year travelling and tasting my way through our regions and have become irrevocably attached to South Australia and its Food and Wine. We have the best produce and the best wine, and while I’ve been enjoying cooking for my friends and family, I can’t wait to share some of my dinner party recipes with Adelaide.” said Paul.

Paul has teamed up with Adelaide chef and The Big Feed nutritionist Mel Haynes, who will be joined by guest chefs, cooks, winemakers and performers at each event.

“We’ve created a different theme for each Table, with some surprises along the way to entertain those who join us on this culinary journey across Adelaide and surrounds. Dinner parties can be a whole lot more fun than simply dining out, and the team and I are looking forward to seeing you at one of our 12 Tables soon!”

The first Table will be held on the 8th July at Fnuky. 12 tables is a great, creative idea so naturally Fnuky is a perfect fit for bringing this idea to life, our outrageous ‘offices’ will set the scene for an amazing dining experience. said Fnuky General Manager Jeremy Ervine.

The first 12 Tables event will be held in conjunction with the SA Launch of The Big Feed – a fundraising organisation dedicated to helping to improve the wellbeing of disadvantaged young people in Australia through food and nutrition.
