Iconic artist Tom Jones has confirmed a long-awaited string of dates for Australia on his upcoming ‘Ages & Stages’ tour.

Tom Jones, the esteemed musical artist with a career spanning over six decades, has announced his forthcoming “Ages & Stages” tour in Australia. This will be the iconic singer’s first national tour in the country since his sold-out performances in 2016.

The tour is set to kick off on Thursday, March 21, at the Kings Park and Botanic Garden in Perth. From there, Jones will head to A Day on the Green at Centennial Vineyards in Bowral on Saturday, March 23. He will continue his journey with performances at The Drive in Adelaide, Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, Bluesfest Byron Bay, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, and conclude at Aware Super Theatre in Sydney on Thursday, April 4.

Tickets for the general public will be available from Friday, September 22 at 2 pm. For those eager to secure their spots earlier, a Live Nation pre-sale will start on Wednesday, September 20 at 3 pm, concluding on Friday, September 22 at 1 pm. All times mentioned are local.

Supporting Jones on this tour will be the band Germein. Additionally, Australian singer Delta Goodrem will make a special appearance at A Day on the Green at Centennial Vineyards, Bowral. More supporting acts are to be announced. Comprehensive details regarding the tour, ticketing, and VIP Experiences can be found at www.livenation.com.au.

Jones’s illustrious career boasts over 100 million records sold, establishing him as one of the greatest singers and recording artists ever. The New York Times has described him as a “musical shapeshifter who could slide from soulful rasp to pop croon, with a voice as husky as it was pretty”. Jones’s shows encompass various musical eras, and genres, and have universal appeal.

From the early 1960s, Jones has been a dominant figure on the international music scene, producing hits like ‘It’s Not Unusual’, ‘What’s New Pussycat?’, and ‘Delilah’. His wide-ranging repertoire also includes the James Bond theme ‘Thunderball’ and popular songs like ‘Green, Green Grass of Home’, ‘She’s A Lady’, ‘Sex Bomb’, and a rendition of Prince’s ‘Kiss’.

Over the years, Jones has received multiple awards and honours, including a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, several BRIT Awards, a Silver Clef Award, the distinguished Music Industry Trusts Award, and a Hitmaker Award from the US Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Jones’s recent albums produced by Ethan Johns, such as “Surrounded By Time”, “Long Lost Suitcase”, “Spirit In The Room”, and “Praise & Blame”, have also garnered considerable praise from critics for both content and performance.

Throughout his extensive career, Jones has showcased an eclectic taste in music. This diverse musical interest has seen him collaborate with luminaries such as Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Dolly Parton, and Ed Sheeran.

Though Sir Tom Jones is renowned for his chart-topping hits, his true essence lies in his versatility as an artist with genuine rhythm and blues at his core.
