TONIGHT The Garden of Unearthly Delights hosts huge free party in the CBD

The Garden of Unearthly Delights is turning 21 and it’s time to bring the Eastern Parklands of Adelaide to life once more with their free event tonight.

Get ready for the ultimate party of the year, The Garden of Unearthly Delights is turning 21 and it’s time
to bring the Eastern Parklands of Adelaide to life once more.

Tonight, The Garden gates will be open to the public at 7.30 pm with a free event to start your Adelaide summer festival season with a bang.

This year’s Garden program is bursting with excitement, featuring your favourite comedians, circus acts,
cabaret performers, music, and family-friendly fun.

And the best part? You’re invited to this FREE opening night party. Come celebrate 21 years of unforgettable experiences and make this a birthday celebration for the whole family to remember.

Weave your way around The Garden’s magical festoon-lit outdoors surroundings in Kadlitpina (Rundle
Park) and enjoy free performances throughout The Garden’s many bars and outdoor areas.

Be the first to experience the South Australian premiere of Kaleidoscope – a breathtaking sensory installation created by visual mastermind Keith Courtney (House of Mirrors, 1000 Doors) that’ll leave you speechless (if you can manage to find your way out of the maze).

Enjoy a local music lineup including alt-country legend Mark Curtis and award-winning conductor and
musical director Trevor Jones on the keys.

The Kensington and Norwood Brass Band will also be getting ready with brass tunes from The Great American Songbook, your favourite movie themes, and the occasional march and hymn, thrown in for good measure.

For those keen to dance the night away, DJ Pedro will also be pumping your favorite tunes on a new dance floor hand painted by local muralist Hari Koutlakis.

You’ll also be the first to try The Garden’s first dine-in restaurant, Roberta’s Italian Disco Diner.
Roberta’s provides a traditional piazza party experience with red and white checkered tablecloths, fiasco
chianti wine bottles, and Italo Disco tunes from some of Adelaide’s best DJs all month long.

Bookings for Roberta’s are strongly encouraged via Open Table to avoid disappointment.

And don’t forget the dozens of rides, sideshows and market stalls that you can’t experience anywhere
else at the Fringe.
