The summer of 2026 is well and truly underway, and there’s already been a frenzy of fantastic events in Adelaide. It’s only going to get better with the festival season on the horizon. February has major sporting events, festivals, conventions and even Valentine’s Day. The South Australian Game Exhibition (SAGE) | Feb 6 – 7

The South Australian Game Exhibition (SAGE) is set to return in 2026, taking over Adelaide Studios on Friday, February 6th and Saturday, February 7th. This will be SAGE’s fourth iteration of this event, which has quickly become the highlight of South Australia’s game development scene, particularly as part of the highly anticipated Adelaide Fringe festivities.

Beachside Food and Wine Festival | Feb 7

The Beachside Food and Wine Festival will return on Saturday, February 7th at Rotary Park, Christies Beach from 4pm to 9:30pm. Experience a selection of local wine, beer and spirits from across the region, whilst indulging in the variety of food on offer with stunning coastal views. Plus, with local market stalls, an exceptional lineup of local artists and artisans, and some great live entertainment, this is perfect for the whole family.

LIV Golf Adelaide | Feb 12 – 15

LIV Golf Adelaide will run from Thursday, February 12th to Sunday, February 15th, with a new four-day format at the Grange Golf Club, giving fans even more of the high-energy tournament that’s been crowned World’s Best Golf Event three times at the World Golf Awards. To make it all the more fun, for the first time in 2026, all LIV Golf tournaments globally will feature 72 holes across four days, meaning more golf, more drama and more festival vibes from beginning to end.

Laneway Festival | Feb 14

Laneway Festival is back this February, with US pop powerhouse Chappell Roan confirmed as the headline act. She’ll be joined by a stellar bill of international and local talent, including Role Model, PinkPantheress, Wet Leg, BENEE, Gigi Perez, Wolf Alice and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.

The Adelaide Fringe is back, with the biggest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere taking over this city for 31 magical summer days and nights. The Fringe transforms Adelaide and greater South Australia with an eclectic lineup of events that include cabaret, theatre, comedy, circus, music, visual arts, workshops, and so much more.

Hilltop Hoods ‘Never Coming Home Tour’ | Feb 26

Australian hip-hop royalty, Hilltop Hoods, are heading on a national tour in 2026, marking their grand return to the stage across major cities in Australia. The “Never Coming Home Tour” will showcase the band’s unique blend of lyrical prowess and dynamic production in a series of all-ages capital city arena shows around the country. They’ll be stopping in Adelaide on February 26th, taking over the Entertainment Centre for an evening of fun.

Adelaide Festival is back at the end of the month, bringing dance, theatre, opera, music, visual arts and more to the city over two and a half weeks. A standout of the fun is WOMADelaide, which will transform Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla over four extraordinary days and glorious nights of music, arts and dance in early March.

Beachport Crayfish Festival | Feb 28

Beachport is getting ready to turn up the heat once again this summer, with the much-loved Beachport Crayfish Festival confirmed to return on Saturday, February 28th, bringing a full day of seafood, live music and coastal celebration to Centennial Park.

A Day in the Gully | Feb 28

Festival-lovers, prepare yourselves for a real treat. There’s a fun new event on the horizon, and it’s coming straight to your backyard. ‘A Day in the Gully’ is set to hit Civic Park on February 28th. Superstar DJ Discolines will be joined by Ball Park Music, Chet Faker, Pete Murray, Mallrat and more for a day of epic entertainment.

The 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will once again deliver a packed, non-stop program, featuring categories ranging from Formula 1 cars and V8 Supercars to sports cars, touring cars, motorbikes, drift cars and more. With no breaks in on-track action, the festival combines high-octane demonstrations with a relaxed picnic-in-the-park atmosphere, complete with car displays, kids’ zones, bars, food trucks, exhibitors, traders and interactive activations.
