Top-notch women’s pre-loved and vintage fashion market Round She Goes is back this weekend

Round She Goes pre-loved and vintage fashion market is heading to Adelaide this weekend with a curated range of high end fashion and accessories.

Pre-loved and second hand fashion has become hugely popular in the last few years with people wanting to save the planet or score a bargain to fill their wardrobes.

Round She Goes pre-loved and vintage fashion market has been Australia’s premier destination for women’s clothing and accessories since 2008. Now, it’s heading back to Adelaide this Sunday 29th October with over 40 stallholders in Goodwood.

There will be designer fashion, quality vintage and retro fashion, handmade jewellery and accessories as well as a huge selection of goods from 1940s onwards. Expect to find things from high street to high end.

“We often get clothing and accessories from women who have been holding onto gems for decades and same them for Round She Goes. They’re often pieces that are too good to donate but they aren’t necessarily selling them online. It’s not fast-fashion it’s special pieces,” founder Emma Morris says.

Round She Goes aim is to make it easy and convenient for women to shop their sustainable values and not to buy into fast-fashion. The markets were first founded by Emma 15 years ago as she thought there was a gap in the market to find high-end second hand clothing that wasn’t from a flee market.

“It worked really well the first time when I held one in Melbourne and so I replicated it in Adelaide and Sydney,” Emma says.

“Second hand clothing is booming and we’ve ridden that wave. We’ve stood the test of time because of the quality of stall holders we have the nice and friendly community we’ve created.”

Round She Goes has been running in Adelaide since 2012, and they’re back this year after a pause with COVID.

“The secret sauce is that our market is highly curated, the quality is really nice,” Emma says.

Entry is only $3 and card and cash is accepted, plus there will be a coffee cart and sweet treats available to purchase.

From vintage collectors to brand-name devotees, there is something for everyone at Round She Goes.

“It’s a great chance to catch up with girlfriends, have a good coffee and treat and not worry about weather while shopping,” Emma says.
