At Harris Scarfe Rundle Place, Marie showed us how to create beautifully wrapped gifts which will bring excitement to your loved ones faces the moment they see it! Whilst sharing her tips on how to create a fresh, festive and fabulous look to each individual present.
Reusing and repurpose gift wrapping is the newest trend and the best way to give two gifts at once. Use something that can be reused, such as a beautiful tea towel or linen napkin, to wrap your gift. This is a great way to recycle and reuse all elements of the gift!
Marie’s top three tips for gift wrapping are;
- Create different textures in your gift wrapping such as adding hessian ties for ribbon or material instead of wrapping paper. This will add dimension to the look of the wrapping and add something exciting on top of your traditional gift wrap.
- Think outside the box and use Christmas accessories to your gifts. I like to hang a Christmas tree decoration, a candy cane or some holly on my Christmas gifts depending on who they are going to.
- No matter who the gift is for or how much you have spent, they are all special! Put your carols on and enjoy relaxing and wrapping your gifts while letting your creative flair bloom. Personalise is gift to reflect the person. Have fun with it!
