Mums can be hard to buy for. More often than not, she’s already got everything she needs and how many years in a row can you get away with flowers and chocolates? Well, forget that this year and instead get her something she’ll actually enjoy – a day out she won’t forget with the people she loves most.
For the first time, the beautiful Ellington Function Centre is holding an extravagant Mother’s Day Lunch to help celebrate the mother figures in our lives.
For just $75pp, indulge in a 3-course luncheon prepared by the talented chefs of The Ellington and The Pangaea Kitchen all within the venue’s picturesque ballroom, a truly unique and special setting.
The specially crafted menu includes a variety of options for both entrée and main with items such as mozzarella and pesto arancini and truffle egg salad to start and grilled lamb kofta, and seafood linguine just some of the options for your main. A mouth-watering sticky date pudding will then be served to all to round out the meal with a bang.
But this event isn’t just any old lunch, no this one has somewhat of an after-party. While ambient music will be playing throughout the dining experience, once the last morsels have been eaten and the plates have been cleared, the DJ will hit that switch with all your favourite tracks from the 70s, 80s and 90s so mum can kick off those shoes and hit the dancefloor and show off her best moves.
To pay homage to all the mums, each will receive a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival as a way to say thank you for all that they do.
A photo booth will also be set up for the duration of the day so you can duck out and capture the special moments with a beautiful keepsake.
Bookings are available for a minimum of four people per table so round up the family and show mum your appreciation with a fun day out at The Ellington.
